Xero Shoes means zero/no shoes. The American brand makes shoes that are as minimalist as possible, yet functional.
The brand's story began with runner Steven Sashen, who was dealing with frequent injuries and joined a barefoot running club on the recommendation of a friend. As a result of barefoot running, his walk changed and his injuries disappeared. Steven developed his own modern huarache-style sandal, was surprised by the great interest from the community, and gradually began to expand his range of barefoot shoes.
